Happy Friday everyone!!
This has been a long, long week but finally summer has arrived! And, believe it or not, the meterologists predict an even nicer, sunnier and hotter weekend. We all know we should drink as much water as we can get into our system, especially in summer. Sometimes I need a little taste, but I don't like sugared drinks, getting the impression that they make me even thirstier. That's why I came up with this super simple sugar-free fruit ice tea.

There are a million possibilites of which fruit to put into the ice tea, here is what I chose:
- 1 lemon
- 1-2 peaches
- lemon basil
- 2  fruit tea bags
- some ice cubes

Make a pot of fruit tea and let it cool down completely. When the tea is cold, pour the juice of half a lemon into it. Cut peaches into slices, take some lemon basil leaves (melissa would be fantastic too!!) and add everything to the tea. Allow the various flavors to blend in the fridge for an hour at least. Before serving, add ice cubes and decorate with lemon slices. Simple as that, delicious as it can get!

I hope you will have some time to go swimming this weekend, if so, take a bottle of this fruit ice tea with you - super refreshing! What's your favorite summer drink?
Love, Anne
